Markover is located in Northeastern Connecticut, 1 hr. from Hartford, 90 min. from Boston, 20 min. from Providence, and 2hrs. from New York.

The preserve is just 2 miles from exit 93 off Rt. 395

From the Mass. turnpike: Auburn exit off pike, take Rt. 395 South, exit 93 off Rt. 395. Turn left at end of ramp, take first right past Zip's Diner, fourth right on to Cook Hill, half mile to Markover on right.

From Hartford area: Rt. 84 to exit 69, right on to Rt. 74, follow 74 to end, left on to Rt. 44, follow 44 to Rt. 101, pass under Rt. 395,take first right past Zip's Diner, fourth right on to Cook Hill, half mile to Markover on right.

From Rt. 95 and South: Rt. 95 to Rt. 395, exit 93 off 395, right at end of ramp, take first right past Zip's Diner, fourth right on to Cook Hill, half mile to Markover on right.

From Providence and East: Rt. 6 to Rt. 101, turn left 3.7 miles after " Welcome to Connecticut" sign on to Cook Hill, half mile to Markover on right.

Danielson airport is only 5 minutes from the preserve and we can provide transportation to and from the airport.
